    Salary: $70,512 to $111,633 per year

    Job Summary:

    The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and radiation detection equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. This role provides safe, compassionate care to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, while ensuring compliance with departmental protocols and regulatory standards. The CT Technologist is responsible for completing required competencies, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with radiologists and the healthcare team to support timely diagnosis and treatment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
    • Produce high-quality diagnostic images safely and efficiently
    • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
    • Complete all required imaging examinations and transmit studies to the radiologist for interpretation
    • Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
    • Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards
    • Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to their needs
    • Complete required competencies within the designated introductory period
    • Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program
    • ARRT (R) certification with documented CT training and experience
    • CT Registry certification must be obtained within one year of hire
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • State licensure, if required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1–3 years of CT imaging experience

    Preferred Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and radiation safety principles
    • Excellent patient care and communication skills
    • Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images efficiently
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
