Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced
CT/XR Technologist for a 13-week local travel contract in
Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to join a healthcare team while enjoying the unique landscapes, outdoor recreation, history, and culture of Northwestern New Mexico.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing diagnostic imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT environments while maintaining a strong commitment to patient safety, image quality, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations according to established protocols.
- Operate X-ray and CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and provide appropriate positioning and support.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards.
- Verify patient information, examination orders, and imaging protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain equipment and report equipment concerns or malfunctions as appropriate.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication throughout the assignment.
Education & Certification Requirements- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- New Mexico State Radiologic Technologist License required.
- ARRT (CT) certification or provisional CT required.
- Current clinical competency in diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures.
- Previous CT/X-ray experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong patient-care, communication, and organizational skills.
