Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist Job Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare, position, and educate patients prior to imaging procedures
• Operate CT and digital radiography equipment safely and efficiently
• Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Follow all radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Perform routine equipment quality assurance and report maintenance concerns promptly

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements

• A.R.R.T. Registration – Required
• Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Licensure – Required
• BLS Certification – Required (may be obtained during orientation)

Preferred Experience

• One to three years of Radiology (Imaging and Therapy) experience in a healthcare or medical setting
• Previous CT imaging experience preferred
• Strong understanding of CT and diagnostic radiology procedures
• Excellent communication, patient care, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to quickly adapt to new clinical environments and workflows
