Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist

13-week assignment near Akron, Ohio, offering up to $2,160 per week. This role supports diagnostic imaging teams, performing CT scans and X-ray exams while ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. Candidates can pursue a temp-to-perm transition after theassignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality CT scans and diagnostic X-ray examinations per physician orders and protocols
  • Prepare, position, and educate patients before imaging procedures
  • Operate CT and digital radiography equipment safely and efficiently
  • Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
  • Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
  • Perform routine equipment quality assurance and report maintenance concerns promptly
Qualifications:
  • A.R.R.T. Registration – Required
  • Ohio Department of Health Licensure – Required
  • BLS Certification – Required (may be obtained during orientation)
Preferred Skills:
  • One to three years of Radiology (Imaging and Therapy) experience in a healthcare or medical setting
  • Previous CT imaging experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of CT and diagnostic radiology procedures
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new clinical environments and workflows
