Job Description

Job Summary:The Audio, Video & Graphics Design (AVGD) Instructor will deliver instruction aligned with the Georgia Department of Education CTAE Audio, Video & Graphics Design Pathway, preparing students for postsecondary education, industry certification, and careers in digital media, broadcasting, graphic design, and audio/video production.

Responsibilities: • Develop and implement standards-based instruction for AVGD I, II, and III. • Teach audio production, video production, graphic design, broadcasting, and animation. • Use project-based learning aligned to GaDOE standards. • Maintain equipment and manage AV labs. • Coordinate work-based learning and advisory committee partnerships. • Support CTSOs such as TSA. • Participate in GaDOE CTAE professional development.

Qualifications: • Georgia CTAE certification or eligibility to obtain. • Industry experience preferred.

Preferred Skills & Certifications: • Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, AV Production, Graphic Design, or related field. • Adobe Certified Professional • OSHA 10 or 30 • Live production and broadcasting experience
