CTE ELECTRONICS TEACHER - High School 2026-2027
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Participate in school-wide meetings and vocational program activities.
Fulfill department teaming roles such as a mentoring partnership with a professional status colleague.
Coordinate daily instruction with colleagues in the Electronics department.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsible for effective techniques of classroom management/discipline and behavior reinforcement.
Performance of other job-related duties as assigned.
Be open to learning new areas of study to enhance the Electronics program.
1.Massachusetts Chapter 74 Licensure in Electronics or be eligible to attain a preliminary vocational technical , teacher license.
Associate degree or higher degree related to the subject matter and skills to be taught.
Four years of full-time employment experience (within the last seven years) directly related to Electronics.
High School Diploma.
SEI Endorsement OR ability to achieve SEI endorsement within one year of hire.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Massachusetts Chapter 74 Professional Licensure in Electronics.
SEI Endorsement.
Advanced educational preparation in the area of Electronics and/or teaching.
Certificate as a Fiber optics Technician (FOA) or willingness to acquire
