TITLE: Marketing Teacher - Methuen High School DATE OF OPENING: 2026-2027 School Year SALARY: $60,253 - $113,226

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Licensed in Massachusetts as a Vocational Teacher in Marketing.
• Licensed in Massachusetts as a Business Teacher.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Training and experience in Business/Marketing background.
• Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To develop in each student, the necessary knowledge and skills relating to marketing strategies in business and the basic parts of a business.
• Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in connecting entrepreneurship to the curriculum and ensuring that students are introduced to basic career-readiness skills.
• Applicants will also be responsible for the organization of course work using the VTE Frameworks as directed by the DESE CVTE department for Marketing.
• Based on training and experience according to the current salary schedule as negotiated by Unit A of the Methuen Education Association.
