The teacher is responsible for providing high-quality, standards-aligned instruction that supports the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth of all students. This position requires the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons, use assessment data to inform instruction, create a safe and orderly learning environment, and build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. The teacher is expected to implement effective instructional practices, integrate technology to support learning, and maintain professional responsibilities in alignment with district expectations and Mississippi educator standards.
