Culinary Assistant

Lakeside Generations Senior Living & Care Center, a Cassia community overlooking a lake, has wonderful Culinary Assistant positions available. There are guaranteed hours with the possibility of picking up shifts! No experience needed! We will train you! We welcome anyone with a passion for providing great customer service to join our team.

As a Culinary Assistant  at Lakeside Generations, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members’ meals. Mealtimes and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives! Our Dietary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. Come and work in a beautiful and rewarding setting while helping seniors enjoy their dining experience. 

Position Type: Part-Time including one weekend a month and rotating holidays.

Shift Available: 
Evenings 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Wage Range: $19.09 to $21.09 / hour depending on experience

Location: 439 William Avenue East, Dassel MN 55325

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred but not required, we will train!
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.
