Position Overview
The Culinary Intern position offers a structured, hands on learning experience with exposure to multiple outlets and service styles, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquet operations. Interns will work closely with culinary leadership to develop technical skills, operational awareness, and an understanding of high level hospitality standards.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain high sanitation standards throughout all areas of responsibility
Ensure all food storage areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained
Properly handle, label, and store food items at the conclusion of each shift
Follow proper inventory rotation procedures
Prepare food according to established specifications for all service periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets
Maintain clean and organized storage areas and appropriate product pars
Work with culinary leadership to assist in developing daily specials and menu variations
Perform additional duties as assigned
