Culinary Cook at The Waterview Shores

The Culinary Service Cook prepares, serves, and/or is responsible for the preparation of foods for residents, guests, and employees. With direction from the Culinary Services Director and in coordination with the interdisciplinary team, the cook increases residents acceptance and compliance, especially among those with therapeutic diet orders.

Qualifications: Must have:

• A desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Ability to follow directions, cooperate with co-workers, and perform assigned tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff and follow supervisor instructions.

Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility, or assisted living community.
