- Lead a Great Dining Program: Oversee daily culinary operations and create delicious, resident-focused menus and dining experiences.
- Build Meaningful Connections: Get to know residents and their preferences while building strong relationships with families and team members.
- Lead & Develop Your Team: Hire, train, mentor, and inspire dining team members to provide excellent food and service.
- Be a Hands-On Leader: Work alongside your team and provide meal preparation and culinary support at least four days per week.
- Create Memorable Experiences: Plan special meals, events, and dining experiences that bring residents together.
- Manage the Details: Oversee scheduling, inventory, ordering, kitchen workflow, and food costs.
- Maintain High Standards: Ensure food quality, sanitation, safety, and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
- Make Dining Personal: Listen to resident feedback and continuously look for ways to make their dining experience even better.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience leading a culinary, kitchen, or dining services team.
- Strong culinary skills with the ability and willingness to work hands-on in the kitchen.
- Experience managing food service operations, inventory, scheduling, and food safety.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A positive, team-oriented approach and passion for serving seniors.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record for company vehicle use.
