Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time Culinary Supervisor to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As a Culinary Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting kitchen operations through the maintenance, cleaning, and monitoring of culinary equipment with a primary focus on fryer systems and oil management. What will you do

  • Perform scheduled fryer oil changes, filtration, replenishment, and quality monitoring.
  • Experience in commercial kitchen operations or maintenance preferred.
  • Clean fryer wells, baskets, crumb trays, and surrounding equipment areas.
  • Ensure fryers and kitchen equipment are operating safely, efficiently, and as intended after maintenance.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment for signs of malfunction or wear and communicate issues to culinary leadership.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in compliance with cleanliness, safety, health department, and EcoSure standards.
  • Support health inspection readiness through routine equipment checks, sanitation, and upkeep.

More about you

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in commercial kitchen operations or maintenance preferred.
  • Basic understanding of fryer systems and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong awareness of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with a team-oriented mindset.
  • No degree required.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
