They will assist in maintaining both grow rooms and plants in each cycle, ensuring plant quality. The cultivation technician will work both individually and with the cultivation team managing all plants. They will work to complete the pruning, transplanting, rearranging, feeding, and harvesting; the role will include many other like tasks for the production of each plant. JOB REQUIREMENTSAgriculture or related field is preferredExperience in recordkeepingAttention to detailAbility to communicate with a diverse groupUtilizes organizational skillsReliable, professional, and ethicalExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience in the Cannabis Industry preferred PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITESMaintaining each cycle room to ensure it is clean and organized Consistently execute techniques for plant qualityPlant maintenance during their cyclesTransplantingMixing soilMoving each plant as they progress through the cyclesAssist in proper plant irrigation Prepare each room with necessary items for plant cycleCompleting each step of the cycle process as directedDefoliate plantsPrune plantsHarvesting each plantClean work areas between harvestsClone, plant, and fertilize each plantHarvest plants, and transplant and label them.Track plants and plant growth.Inspect plants to assess quality and monitor for insects or disease.Examining plants for signs of pests or disease.Assist with pest management as needed Skills:Understanding of BlazeAbility to frequently lift and store productProficient with Microsoft Office Proficient in Google SuiteExcellent analytical skills are a must, including measuring and monitoring key performance metrics, maximizing efficiencies and customer service levelsAbility to work independently with little or no direct supervision. EducationHigh school diploma/GED preferred. Experience1-3 years' experience working in a cannabis retail setting preferred1 year of previous packaging and/or labeling experience preferredMust be 21 years of age minimum. Working conditionsWork is primarily performed in a dispensary setting.Involves frequent contact with staff, vendors, and customers.
