Position Overview The Curator of Exhibitions and Student Engagement will work within UCR ARTS, part of the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. The position balances three equally weighted areas of responsibility: management and development of collections; facilitation of student‑ and faculty‑driven research and exhibitions; and development of academic programs, including lectures, symposia, and related interpretive initiatives.Responsibilities Management and development of collections.Facilitation of student‑ and faculty‑driven research and exhibitions.Development of academic programs, including lectures, symposia, and related interpretive initiatives.Qualifications & Requirements This is a senior museum scientist role that requires independent judgment, advanced curatorial expertise, and leadership within a complex academic museum environment. Applicants must be available for some weeknights and weekends to support programs and exhibitions. The appointment is 100% full‑time for 3years, funded by a private foundation and contingent on receiving funding. Salary range is $79,000.09–$127,123.89 annually, with a budgeted pay scale of $90,000.00–$100,000.00 annually. Candidates must have current work authorization; the University cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
