The Wauwatosa School District is seeking a full-time Curriculum + Instruction Specialist to lead efforts in mathematics across grades K-12. This position supports the implementation of K-8 mathematics curriculum, with a primary focus during the 2026-27 school year on the rollout and implementation of Amplify Desmos Math (Grades K-5) and Illustrative Mathematics (Grades 6-Integrated Math 1). Provides leadership in the development, design, refinement, and continuous improvement of additional mathematics courses and curriculum resources across the district.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education; Master's in Curriculum and Instruction or related field preferred
Valid Wisconsin teaching certification
Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience with demonstrated impact on student achievement
Demonstrated leadership experience, including facilitating adult learning and leading collaborative teams;
Strong knowledge of instructional practices, curriculum design, and assessment, use of data to inform student and adult learning;
Commitment to equitable, student-centered instructional practices;
Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented mindset in dynamic school environments; and
Experience contributing to curriculum development, including scope and sequence, articulated curriculum, and assessment design.
