Title: Curriculum / Instructional Designer (Multi-Platform)

Payrate: Up to $105/hour

Duration: Contract assignment with potential for extension

Hours: 40 hours/week

Summary

Builds and maintains training content, learning paths, and assessment design across platforms without needing to hold every vendor's instructor credential personally. Works from each vendor's curriculum but owns the instructional-design layer, including adult-learning methodology, content sequencing, and assessment strategy, that is transferable across AWS, Google Cloud, Workday, or any other platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and sequence learning paths that map vendor certification requirements to a client's or cohort's actual skill gaps.
• Build assessment strategy - formative checks, practice exams, and capstone labs - aligned to each vendor's official exam blueprint.
• Localize and adapt licensed vendor courseware for sector-specific delivery, working within each vendor's permitted customization boundaries.
• Maintain a content-currency calendar tracking vendor release cycles so materials are refreshed before they go stale.
• Partner with facilitators to translate delivery feedback (CSAT, pass-rate data) into content revisions.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Formal instructional design / learning experience (LxD) methodology - ADDIE, backward design, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of adult-learning theory and assessment design.
• Familiarity with LMS authoring tools and content-versioning practices.
• Ability to work across multiple vendor curricula concurrently without a personal instructor credential in each.
