Curriculum Project Coordinator

Salary/Position Classification

• $54,600-$56,800 Annual, Dependent on Experience, Exempt
• 40 hours per week
• This position will work onsite at UND Grand Forks, ND campus

Purpose of Position

The Project Coordinator will provide project management support and operational coordination for the Dean's M.D. Curriculum Transformation and Curricular Innovation Advisory Task Force. This position plays a key role in advancing a comprehensive curricular redesign effort at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences, including initiatives focused on longitudinal and vertical integration, workforce readiness, the Primary Care Accelerated Track (PCAT), and the transition from undergraduate medical education (UME) to graduate medical education (GME).

This position will work closely with the Office of the Dean, faculty, staff, students, and advisory task force members to ensure effective coordination, communication, documentation, and progress toward curricular goals. The position supports the implementation of initiatives but does not serve as a decision-making authority for curricular content.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project Management and Task Force Coordination

• Provide day-to-day coordination and project management for the Curriculum Transformation Advisory Task Force and related working groups
• Support planning and facilitation of meetings, retreats, and engagement sessions (virtual and in-person)
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with strategic goals
• Develop agendas, prepare meeting materials, and document decisions, outcomes, and next steps
• Maintain organized documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomes
• Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and learners across all campuses 

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as a central point of contact for task force members and working groups
• Manage routine communications, including updates, summaries, and informational materials
• Coordinate stakeholder feedback processes such as surveys, data collection, and synthesis of results
• Support dissemination of updates to foster transparency and alignment across groups  

Evaluation, Reporting, and Documentation Activities

• Track progress and outcomes of curriculum transformation initiatives
• Compile data and feedback from stakeholders to support continuous improvement
• Prepare reports, briefing materials, and summaries for leadership review
• Support documentation required for accreditation and institutional reporting (e.g. LCME-related materials)  

Administrative and Operational Support

• Manage scheduling, calendars, and logistics for project-related activities
• Support budget tracking and expense coordination for meetings, travel, and events
• Assist with coordination of retreats and large-scale planning events
• Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned by the Office of the Dean

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, healthcare administration, business, or related field
• Two (2) years of experience in project coordination, program support, or administrative roles
• Experience coordinating meetings, events, or projects with multiple stakeholders
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
