    CLASSIFICATION: STUDENT WORKER

    JOB TITLE: CTE STUDENT WORKER - DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN

    JOB LOCATION: VARIOUS

    REPORTS TO: ASSIGNED MARKETING TEAM MEMBER

    SALARY: UNPAID INTERNSHIP

    WORK CALENDAR: CUSD STUDENT CALENDAR

    Job Goal:

    We are seeking a creative and motivated high school student with an interest in digital photography to join our team as an intern. This unpaid, for-credit internship offers valuable hands-on experience in photography, editing, and visual storytelling. The intern will assist with capturing, editing, and organizing photos for various projects while developing technical skills and building a professional portfolio.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Currently enrolled as a CUSD student in grades 10-12
    • Eligible to receive school credit for internship participation
    • Passion for photography and visual storytelling
    • Desired: Basic knowledge of cameras (DSLR or mirrorless) and/or photo editing software
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
    • Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions
    • Satisfactory school conduct background check
    • Provide at least one letter of recommendation from a current CUSD teacher
    • Must adhere to CUSD student dress code standards
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, co-workers, and students

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with photo shoots, both on-site and in studio settings
    • Capture digital images for events, projects, and social media
    • Edit and enhance photos using software such as Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop
    • Organize and maintain a digital photo library and archives
    • Support creative team with brainstorming and visual content needs
    • Learn about file management, composition, lighting, and editing techniques
    • Occasionally assist with related media projects (video, graphic design, or social media)

    Internship Details:

    • Unpaid internship for school credit
    • Flexible schedule to accommodate school hours (after school, weekends, or summer)

    Physical Requirements:

    Positions in this classification often require physical actions like stooping, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, and sitting.
