    About the Role:

    As a CBRE Custodial Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of on-site custodial operations within a large campus office setting.

    This job is part of the Facilities Management function. Through managed vendor relationships, this individual is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of client buildings and providing both custodial and logistics support for company events.

    What You'll Do:

    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues, including those not evident in existing systems and processes. This will frequently involve cross-collaboration with multiple teams.
    • Take full ownership and management to the conclusion of all cleaning feedback or complaints. Identify and develop proposals for problem solving and process improvement.
    • Strategic planning and implementation of best practice initiatives and innovation, ensuring high-quality standards for cleaning and operational practices are fulfilled by vendor partners.
    • Oversee small project implementation in coordination with vendors and facilities management team. Set and track staff and department deadlines.
    • Provide professional support to the business in service-related matters and to clients in all contractual matters.
    • Confirm performance measures (KPIs/SLAs) are adhered to and any non-compliance is resolved in a professional manner. This includes performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
    • Collaborate with management to develop and oversee service line budget, including day-to-day oversight and cost-saving initiatives.

    What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
    • Fulfill the physical requirements of this role. This includes walking and climbing stairs, with potential for occasional light lifting (<50 lbs).
    • Experience leading direct reports, including performance review and development.
    • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
    • Functional experience utilizing Microsoft Office products. Strong preference for experience utilizing work order software.
    • Vendor management experience. Experience with labor relations/CBAs preferred.
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
