Custodial Position Custodian (Anticipated Vacancy)

Job Description:

Anticipated Position: Custodian (full-time) - 40 hours per week / 12-month position

Qualifications: 1. Experience and knowledge in cleaning building and maintenance work.

2. Common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions.

3. Ability to operate power tools in a safe manner.

4. Ability to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner.

5. Ability to lift and carry objects of light to medium weight.

6. Physical ability to work with cleaning materials.

7. Ability to work in poor weather conditions including heat, cold, rain or

snow.

8. Ability to work day or evening shifts.

Compensation: $20.34 - $24.76 per hour commensurate with experience. Benefits per negotiated contract.
