    POSITION:         CUSTODIAL SUPPORT
     
    SHIFT: 2ND SHIFT - 5:00 pm - 5:00 am
                                 
    REPORTS TO:  PLANT MANAGER

    SCOPE – CUSTODIAL SUPPORT
     
    Sweeps, dusts, removes litter and wastepaper.  Cleans fixtures, equipment, floors, lavatories, washrooms, etc.   Operates power cleaning tools as required.  Performs a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties in order to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment; and perform related work as required.
     
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – CUSTODIAL SUPPORT
    • Sweeps, dusts, removes litter and wastepaper.
    • Dumps raw product in dumpsters.
    • Cleans fixtures, equipment, floor, etc.
    • Performs routine and comprehensive custodial maintenance of assigned facilities.
    • Removes trash in accordance with established procedures.
    • Cleans and disinfects restrooms.
    • Reports and responds to emergency calls for custodial assistance.
    • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
    SUCCESS CRITERIA – CUSTODIAL SUPPORT
    • Safety/GMP/Food Safety/Quality policies followed.
    • BRC Compliance.
    • Reporting accuracy.
    • Customer requirements.             
    • Attendance requirements met.
    EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS – CUSTODIAL SUPPORT
    • Ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and problem solve.
    • Good organizational skills.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Practice good work habits and follow GMP.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Custodial and building maintenance in the food industry preferred.
    • This position is an onsite position.
