Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 9:30 PM – 5:30 AM Shift: Overnight / 3rd Shift
Key Responsibilities
Operate custodial equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and other cleaning machines. Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors by hand or using power equipment. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, floors, and walls. Clean offices, healthcare facilities, inns, cabins, and other assigned areas. Dust and clean furniture, vacuum and shampoo carpets, wash windows and walls, and maintain orderly work areas. Empty trash and recycling containers and ensure assigned areas remain clean and presentable. Move furniture and other objects as needed to complete cleaning duties. Walk assigned grounds and facilities to pick up litter and identify maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain simple records and report facility deficiencies, supply needs, or maintenance concerns. Perform basic/light maintenance and routine care of custodial tools and equipment. Follow established safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures at all times. Qualifications Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience is preferred. Ability to operate or learn to operate commercial cleaning equipment. Ability to perform physically demanding duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving furniture or equipment. Dependable attendance and ability to work an overnight schedule.
