Job Description

What We Are Seeking:

The Iowa Department of Public Defense is hiring a Custodial Worker position to assist the State of Iowa at Camp Dodge for the Iowa National Guard, 7105 NW 70th Ave, Johnston, IA 50131. We are searching for a hardworking, dependable individual to join our team! Candidates must possess a valid driver's license.

Our Agency directly supports the Iowa National Guard sustainment, readiness and modernization, providing support so they are able to fulfill their missions in Iowa's communities or their work for the State during emergencies or times of need. What You'll Do:

  • Perform custodial duties in buildings and offices on Camp Dodge.
  • Maintain custodial equipment.
  • Maintain adequate stockage of cleaning supplies and submit request for supplies as needed for routine or special requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication and professional relationship with customers, employees and management.

Work hours:

7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, hours may vary with work assignments/and some weekend assignments to provide additional base support.
