DoverStaffing is currently seeking Custodians for our client in the downtown Atlanta area. This assignment will last indefinitely and has the potential to become full-time based on performance, attendance and client vacant positions.
Work Shifts:
1st Shift - 5:55 AM - 2:25 PM
2nd Shift - 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM
(Monday - Friday) / Pay Rate $14.00 hourly
Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
- Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, store entrance areas
- Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipment
- Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
- Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
- Follow housekeeping schedule
- Occasionally use commercial cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums and buffers.
- Other duties as assigned, as required by scope of work or customer needs.
Requirements: - Janitorial or commercial cleaning: 2 years' experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to establish daily work attendance record.
- This is a 40-hour work week assignment and not a part-time position.
