Maintains the cleanliness and neat appearance of campus facilities and grounds.

Qualifications

Education: Basic literacy skills, including reading and writing

Experience: Six (6) months experience in housekeeping preferred

Work Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday

Responsibilities

1. Cleaning tasks which can include:

• scrubbing
• disinfecting
• vacuuming
• sweeping
• mopping
• dusting (furniture and chalk boards)
• stripping, buffing, waxing, and sealing floors
• shampooing carpets
• window washing

2. Receives and carries out work orders completing any associated paperwork.

3. Helps supervisor train new employees in housekeeping procedures.

4. Maintains outside grounds including sweeping and snow shoveling/blowing sidewalks and driveways.

5. Moves and straightens up furniture for cleaning and set-up for events.

6. Restocks soap, toilet paper, paper towels and any other regularly used bathroom supplies.

7. Empties trash receptacles and replace bags.

8. Maintains cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies.

9. Fulfills special cleaning requests.

10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

• floor scrubber, floor stripper, floor waxer, floor buffer
• snow removal equipment
• dominator
• brooms, mop, bucket, wringer
• sprayers, dusters
• squeegee
• cleaning cart

1. Annual base salary of $34,947 with full benefits package;
