The Role

The Custodian & Facilities Support team member at Found Rental Co. plays an essential role in maintaining clean, safe, organized, and functional facilities across our warehouse, showroom, and office spaces. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, notices what needs to be done without being asked, and understands that a clean and well-maintained environment directly impacts team morale, safety, and the client experience.

In addition to custodial responsibilities, this role supports light maintenance, facility organization, and general upkeep to ensure all spaces remain operational, professional, and aligned with Found’s standards.

This is a hands-on role for a dependable, self-motivated individual who values consistency, efficiency, and taking ownership of their environment.

Key Responsibilities

General Facilities Cleaning

• Maintain cleanliness of all public and work areas including:
• Showroom
• Offices and workstations
• Break rooms
• Bathrooms
• Sewing and laundry rooms
• Perform detailed cleaning including:
• Sweeping and mopping
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Cleaning walls and baseboards
• Emptying trash
• Cleaning windows and glass surfaces

Warehouse & Dock Maintenance

• Keep warehouse floors clean and free of debris
• Operate floor-cleaning equipment as needed
• Mop warehouse floors using designated cleaning products
• Ensure loading docks and exterior areas remain clean, safe, and organized

Fleet & Laundry Support

• Wash and maintain company trucks and vehicles
• Handle laundry duties including washing and folding rags, gloves, uniforms, and related materials

Organization & Facility Upkeep

• Reorganize storage and work areas to maintain efficiency and cleanliness
• Assist with light maintenance and basic repairs including:
• Replacing light bulbs
• Tightening hardware
• Minor equipment repairs
• Report larger facility or maintenance concerns promptly to leadership

Safety & Standards

• Maintain safe and unobstructed walkways and work areas
• Follow all company safety protocols and cleaning procedures
• Properly store cleaning supplies and equipment
• Support a safe and professional environment for all team members and visitors

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Strong sense of urgency and efficiency
• Dependable with strong follow-through
• Ability to work independently and self-manage tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Basic repair or handyman knowledge preferred
• Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and safety
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

Job Structure & Compensation

• Full-Time or Part-Time
• Hourly pay, paid weekly
• Schedule based on operational needs
• Occasional evenings or weekends may be required
