- Qualifications
- Letter of Introduction
- Letters of Recommendation (3 letters within a year)
- Proof of HS Graduation
- Resume
- TB Screening Result
Requirements:
- Completion of formal or informal education sufficient to assure the ability to read, write, and communicate in English at the level required for successful job performance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of bus driver training school provided by the California Highway Patrol or the District
- Driving experience either paid or unpaid
- Knowledge of Safe driving practices
- Ability to Drive a school bus safely and efficiently
- Maintain order among students on a school bus
- Maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- Recognize malfunctions in equipment and take appropriate action
License:
- An appropriate Class B California operators license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
- A school bus drivers certificate issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
- A valid medical certificate
- A Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate
