Proof of HS Graduation

Requirements:
Completion of formal or informal education sufficient to assure the ability to read, write, and communicate in English at the level required for successful job performance
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of bus driver training school provided by the California Highway Patrol or the District
Driving experience either paid or unpaid
Knowledge of Safe driving practices
Ability to Drive a school bus safely and efficiently
Maintain order among students on a school bus
Maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work
Recognize malfunctions in equipment and take appropriate action
License:
An appropriate Class B California operators license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
A school bus drivers certificate issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
A valid medical certificate
A Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate
