  • Qualifications
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letters of Recommendation (3 letters within a year)
  • Proof of HS Graduation
  • Resume
  • TB Screening Result

Requirements:

  • Completion of formal or informal education sufficient to assure the ability to read, write, and communicate in English at the level required for successful job performance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of bus driver training school provided by the California Highway Patrol or the District
  • Driving experience either paid or unpaid
  • Knowledge of Safe driving practices
  • Ability to Drive a school bus safely and efficiently
  • Maintain order among students on a school bus
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Recognize malfunctions in equipment and take appropriate action

License:

  • An appropriate Class B California operators license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
  • A school bus drivers certificate issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
  • A valid medical certificate
  • A Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate
