Description: This position is responsible for various custodial duties throughout the building, including cleaning, scrubbing, sanitizing, and dusting. This position will also assist with snow removal, minor furniture moves, structures and equipment repairs, and emptying trash. The Custodian is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the school district. This position involves a variety of custodial and housekeeping duties to ensure the overall cleanliness and hygiene of school buildings and facilities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous custodial or housekeeping experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment
• Must have the physical ability to climb ladders and lift/move heavy objects up to 75 pounds
• Must be knowledgeable of the proper labeling of cleaning supplies and use of cleaning equipment and hand tools
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Terms: Full-time, 8hrs/day, 260 days/year (year round schedule)

Salary: $17.86/hr , plus excellent benefits
