Perfection Group is hiring a dependable Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, healthy, and welcoming educational facility.

The classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces you care for directly affect the experience of students, educators, staff, families, and visitors. What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, locker rooms, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned spaces

• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners

• Clean windows, glass, entrances, and frequently touched surfaces

• Restock restroom, kitchen, and other facility supplies

• Perform floor care, including buffing, burnishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning

• Set up and remove tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, school functions, and special events

• Complete seasonal cleaning, deep-cleaning assignments, and special projects

• Safely operate floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, extractors, and other custodial equipment

• Maintain organized cleaning equipment, supplies, and custodial storage areas

• Identify and promptly report maintenance, safety, or security concerns

• Follow OSHA requirements and all customer and Perfection Group safety procedures

• Respond professionally and respectfully to students, staff, visitors, and facility leaders

• Assist with basic facility-upkeep responsibilities as needed

Previous custodial, commercial cleaning, educational, industrial, hospitality, or facility-maintenance experience is preferred. Experience with commercial floor-care equipment is especially helpful, but training may be provided to the right candidate.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check and all customer-required pre-employment screenings

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record if driving is required for the assigned position

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb stairs, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks

• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull the weight required for custodial supplies, equipment, furniture, and waste containers

• Ability to work around cleaning products and follow applicable safety instructions

• Ability to work the posted schedule consistently
