Custodian

About the Role:
Little General LLC is looking for a dependable and hardworking Custodian to join our team in Columbia, MO! This is a great opportunity to be a vital part of keeping our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone who walks through our doors.



Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of interior spaces including floors, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other restroom essentials
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management
• Follow proper procedures for handling and storing cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Assist with light facility maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented work ethic
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
