-Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Custodian for an immediate day shift opening in Exton, PA. This role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining warehouses, office areas, bathrooms, kitchens, parking lots, truck docks, and sidewalks. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on their feet in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: Up to $22/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Responsibilities
-Warehouse
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clear debris from warehouse floors and aisles
Operate floor scrubber on a regular schedule to maintain cleanliness
Empty trash and recycling bins and place in appropriate dumpsters and compactors
Compact cardboard for recycling daily
Clean up oil and fluid spills using appropriate chemicals and safety protocols
Remove spider webs and debris from walls, corners, and workstations
Clear debris and litter from parking lots, truck docks, and sidewalks
Organize exterior materials such as scrap pallets, plastic tanks, and similar items
Remove snow from sidewalks and apply salt as needed
Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, counters, tables, floors, and appliances
Remove trash and replenish supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
Office Areas
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets as needed
Dust tables, surfaces, and window blinds in common areas
Clean entranceway glass, walls, and doors including interior and exterior surfaces
Remove trash and recycling from individual offices as needed
Maintain and organize cleaning supplies and equipment
Report supply needs to supervisor
Perform other related duties as assigned
-Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Custodian or Maintenance Technician
Ability to remain on your feet for the majority of the workday
Ability to maintain outdoor areas including snow removal and litter cleanup
-Preferences
Experience operating industrial floor scrubbers or similar equipment
Familiarity with warehouse or industrial cleaning environments
Knowledge of proper chemical handling and safety protocols
