The Facilities Department at Auburn University at Montgomery is accepting applications for a Custodian/Floor Technician.

Responsibilities

This position performs custodial maintenance for University buildings.

  • Cleans and performs minor repairs on University buildings to ensure that facilities are in suitable condition for scheduled activities. Cleaning duties may include tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, dusting, removing trash, etc.
  • Strips, sands, waxes, seals, buffs, sweeps, shampoos, and mops various types of floor surfaces. Maintains equipment and supplies in order to complete tasks.
  • May assist in setting up for events.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
