Qualifications:

•  High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must have at least six months prior porter cleaning experience or completion of ACCES –VR porter training program
• Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor; ability to understand instructions given by supervisor
• Has some training in use of commercial cleaning equipment
• Must have a valid and qualified NYS driver’s license 
• Carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing experience desired.

Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Performs assigned tasks at cleaning sites including but not limited to carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing and buffing
• Assists in moving supplies and equipment as needed
• Notifies supervisor of problems/difficulties in performing job duties
• Monitors inventory of supplies and notifies team leader when the need for replenishment arises
• Notifies team leader if equipment is not working properly
• Performs additional related duties as requested by supervisor
