GENERAL FUNCTION:

Perform general housekeeping and physical plant maintenance. Effectively communicate with school personnel, students, and visitors on a regular basis in support of school operations. Hours are predominantly second shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform general housekeeping in areas assigned. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Daily cleaning and disinfection of classrooms, restrooms, offices, and associated spaces
• Daily removal of waste material and co-mingle recycling
• Daily cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance of hard surface and carpeted flooring
• Daily disinfecting of common touch points and hard surfaces
• Daily cleaning of corridors, entry vestibules and windows
• Clean and maintain lockers
• Snow removal as assigned

2. Room reconditioning, moving furniture, and equipment.

3. Secure building and perform building checks as assigned.

4. Assist in special set ups for school activities.

5. Assist in emergency situations.

6. Assist with deliveries and unloading of freight.

7. Work weekends and overtime as assigned.

8. Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, positive, team-oriented attitude.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.
