Overview Starting Pay: $16.88
Qualifications Ability to read, understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures and instructions Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffer/sweeper, etc.
Preferred Qualification One (1) year or more of paid custodial experience Possession of a valid drivers license and the ability to obtain/maintain a City of Hoover Drivers Permit
Responsibilities Washes floors, furnishings, equipment, windows, doors and walls with cleaning solutions and disinfectants; Prepares cleaning solutions and disinfectants; Cleans and scrubs basins, sinks, lavatories and toilets; Replenishes soap, tissue, towels and similar supplies; Dusts, wipes and clean cabinets, closets, shelves, vents, showers, pictures and desks; Collects trash and empties garbage; Picks up trash from outside of buildings; Sweeps, mops and dusts floors, strips floor of old wax, applies new wax and buffs; Performs related duties as required.
