Custodian/Housekeeping Worker Senior

Job Title: Custodian/Housekeeping Worker Senior
Location: Morristown, NJ
Type: Contract
Compensation: $20.00 hourly
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 10 AM - 5 PM (Monday through Friday)

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties including taking out the trash, polishing floors and bathrooms, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the school.
• Fix small issues around the school, such as changing light bulbs and setting up chairs.
• Clean between lunch periods and ensure door numbers are maintained.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and supplies effectively.
• Follow work orders from teachers for tasks like moving tables or setting up spaces.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in custodial or housekeeping roles.
• Ability to perform basic repairs, such as changing light bulbs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment.
• Good physical condition to perform cleaning activities and lift/move equipment.
