PAWS Academy at Hildreth School (0.25 FTE) & Goodnow Brothers Elementary School (0.75 FTE)

EVENING SHIFT HOURS:

School Year Hours: Monday-Friday 2:30PM - 11:00PM

Summer and School Break Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30AM - 2:30PM

Occasional weekend hours in the summer

Work Year:

2026-2027

This is a 12 month, year-round position

Salary:

According to the Custodial Salary Scale

FY27 Starting Salary: $50,158.00, plus night differential, and an increase after 6 consecutive months of service.

Job Responsibilities:

The Building Custodian is generally responsible for the achievement of the purposes of custodian services in the building, i.e., preserve property values, protect health and safety of occupants; support the educational objectives of the building and provide a climate of learning, develop goodwill and maintain cleanliness and neatness

• Grounds upkeep, snow removal
• Perform all other general duties as indicated by the Principal, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, the Custodial Supervisor or his/her designee, and policies of the Marlborough School Committee

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferrred but not required
• Physical and mental capabilities to perform above work
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
• Ability to understand spoken and written English.
