**POSITION:** Custodian **SCHEDULE:**Full Time **LOCATION:**Fremont Street Experience 425 Fremont Street Ste. 250 Las Vegas, NV 89101 **SALARY:** Will Discuss with applicant. **SUMMARY**: Maintains clean and orderly appearance of assigned section within the mall area and provides informational assistance to guests by performing the following duties: **MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS**: To perform this job successfully, an individual has to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of their knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - An ability to effectively communicate in a friendly, courteous manner with management, guests, other employees of the company and the public. - Ability to correctly and safely use cleaning solutions and solvents.. Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that have to be met by a Custodian to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodation may be provided but is not limited to enabling individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. - Ability to use hands to use tools, controls, reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. - Ability to but not limited to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. - Ability to frequently lift and or move a minimum of 50 pounds. - Abilityto perform the duties of this job in outside weather conditions including but not limited to cold weather and very hot weather. - Ability to endure working near moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. - Ability to endure moderate noise levels in work area. All employees are provided with the required Personal Protective Equipment required for their job. High touch areas will be sanitized frequently. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES**: - Maintains trash receptacles and urns. - Removes gum found on the mall surface. - Remove liquid spills immediately to avoid safety hazards. - Notifications lead to bio-hazard clean-up or graffiti removal needed. - Maintains equipment to ensure it remains clean and ready for the oncoming shift. - Maintain planters by removing trash and replacing cigarette butts. - Wipes down all Duratran signs. - Wipes down all columns and bollards. - Wipe down all magazine racks and signs**.** - Answers questions and provides directional assistance for guests. - Assist in the set-up and tear-down for special events as required.
