    Job Description

    Job Summary

This role works independently across the facility and has routine access to occupied offices and work areas, so dependability, discretion, and a steady eye for detail matter as much as the cleaning itself.

    Core Accountability

Cleans windows, doors, glass, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.

Performs general cleaning in shop and warehouse areas as assigned, keeping walkways and exits clear.

Sets up and breaks down rooms for meetings, trainings, and company events.

Monitors cleaning supply inventory and notifies the supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.

Operates and performs basic upkeep on cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor machines, and carts.

Uses and stores cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company safety procedures.

Identifies and reports maintenance issues, spills, damage, and safety hazards promptly.

Secures buildings, locks doors, and turns off lights and equipment at the end of shifts as directed.

Performs exterior work including trash pickup, weed pulling, sidewalk sweeping and clearing, and salt application during winter months.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Key Performance Indicators

Cleanliness standards. Maintains assigned areas to company cleanliness standards, with few complaints or re-cleaning requests.

Schedule completion. Completes daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks on schedule.

Supply management. Keeps restrooms and break rooms fully stocked, with no supply outages.

Safety compliance. Follows chemical handling, PPE, and safety procedures with no preventable incidents.

Issue reporting. Reports maintenance issues and hazards promptly so they can be corrected quickly.

Reliability. Maintains good attendance and responds reliably to cleaning requests during the shift.
