Cache County Corporation is seeking a Custodian to join our Fairgrounds and Event Center Team! The Custodian will work under the general supervision of the Event Supervisor. Performs a variety of custodial and facility support duties to maintain clean, safe, and event-ready facilities. This position works collaboratively with staff to support daily operations and scheduled events, and must be capable of working both independently and as part of a team to meet custodial needs across the Fairgrounds and Event Center.
This is a full time, benefited position. All benefits start on the first day! Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, Utah Retirement System, 14 paid holidays, and 18 days of Personal Leave in the first year.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties will include but are not limited to, planning and coordinating custodial projects, assigning staff to tasks, and determining staffing needs based on scheduled events. You will also perform general cleaning of buildings and offices, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing floors; vacuuming and cleaning carpets; dusting office areas, cleaning windows and restrooms, etc.; and perform minimum security checks of the building and office spaces to ensure windows and doors are locked.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or GED, one year of experience performing cleaning duties in a commercial office environment, and pass a background check.
Must have a current Utah Driver's License and must not have any DUIs or ARRs within the past five (5) years or more than two (2) moving violations within the past two (2) years.
