Position Summary
Delaware County Community College is dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors. We are seeking a diligent and reliable full-time Custodian to join our team
The Custodian will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and presentable. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.
First Shift - 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Essential Functions
Experience & Education
The ideal candidate must have the ability to read and write and follow simple instructions; two years custodian experience in a school setting preferred; able to read and understand English; ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds of weight; able to work additional hours and some weekends as needed; first shift must have transportation (6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.); may be required to work on ladders or lifts.
