Works under the direct supervision of assigned supervisor. Performs routine cleaning of buildings, facilities, and equipment. Performs light cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, emptying trash cans, changing light bulbs, washing walls and glass, and cleaning bathrooms. Applies treatment to various floor surfaces by mopping, scrubbing, stripping, polishing or shampooing. Moves furniture and equipment. Operates motor driven cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaner, buffer, and carpet shampooer. Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk. Picks up and collects trash/litter around facilities. Notifies supervisor of repairs, maintenance and large debris work needed for building and equipment.
