Position Summary: The Werner University Center (WUC) is the central gathering place for the Western Oregon University (WOU) campus, located in Oregons Willamette Valley. The facility serves students, faculty, staff, and visitors by providing spaces for cultural and social events, dining services, meetings, recreational activities, campus offices, bookstore services, and major university events. Open more than 65 hours per week during the academic year, the WUC is a high- traffic environment that requires consistent upkeep to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere. As a Custodian, this position supports the mission of Student Engagement by maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the building. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and event spaces; setting up and t aking down conference rooms and event furniture; delivering and arranging audiovisual equipment; and responding to the daily needs of building occupants. This role plays a key part in ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and inviting while provi ding excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and guests.
