COUNTY OF BUCKS\n \nJOB TITLE:\n \nCustodian - NMH\n \nJOB CODE:\n \n0728\n \nDEPARTMENT:\n \nNM Housekeeping Services\n \nUNION:\n \n02\n \nFLSA STATUS:\n \nNon-Exempt\n \nGRADE:\n \n728\n \nPOSITION SUMMARY: \n \nPerforms routine manual labor tasks in maintaining Neshaminy Manor areas and offices of the complex in attractive, clean and sanitary conditions.\n \nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n Performs germicidal cleaning of Neshaminy Manor furniture, miscellaneous equipment and built-in units in residents' living areas.\n Sweeps and mops all floors and stair areas and strips and waxes floors.\n Empties trash baskets and ashtrays and dusts furniture, baseboards, windowsills, etc.\n Washes walls and light fixtures as required.\n Cleans lavatories and bathrooms and maintains supplies for them.\n Periodically removes and rehangs curtains and draperies for washing and/or dry cleaning.\n Cleans outside patio and exit areas.\n Employees may be required to perform additional work that follows prescribed or well-established procedures that can be learned within a reasonable time by training on the job. More detailed instructions as to the nature of their duties will be given to employees at the beginning of work.\n \nQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:\n \nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
