Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM) has been providing quality service since 1957. We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We currently perform janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC and maintenance services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Oahu, Kauai, Maui and the Big Island.

-Position: Custodian - Day Porter
-Location: Honolulu, HI 96813
-Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (40 hours weekly)
-Compensation per hour: $17.00
Key Responsibilities and Requirements Include:
-Cleaning and maintaining the location space, which involves: Sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing
-Vacuuming and operating a side-by-side scrubbing machine for the floors
-Cleaning restrooms and storage areas
-Removing trash, replacing liners, and disposing of waste in designated areas
-Restocking supplies
-Performing additional tasks as directed by the HBM supervisor
-Candidates must be capable of: Standing, walking, bending, reaching (including overhead), grasping objects, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stooping, stretching, pressing, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting a minimum of 20-30 lbs.
-Must successfully pass the HBM prescreen check
-A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
