This position is responsible for ensuring all offices and other specifically assigned areas of the facility are kept in clean and orderly condition. Priority areas will include all non-factory parts of the facility. 1st shift hours
Major Responsibilities - Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, hallways, production areas, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces
- Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
- Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as required
- Maintain cleanliness of cafeterias, conference rooms, and training areas
- Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Support housekeeping expectations throughout the plant and assist with special cleaning projects
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to management
- Assist with facility setup or cleanup for meetings, events, or company activities
- Operate floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment safely and effectively
- Help maintain outside areas including entrances, sidewalks, and seasonal duties as needed
- Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications - High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Positive attitude and willingness to support team needs
Physical Requirements - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Frequently bend, stoop, lift, and reach
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals
