Custodian

*Must Obtain Security Clearance*Job Summary:The Custodian performs commercial custodial cleaning of buildings in compliance with corporate, project, and contractual guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform assigned custodial work safely and according to training- Dry mop, wet mop, and sanitize floors- Clean baseboards, walls, corners, windows, and doors- Vacuum carpets- Clean and disinfect restrooms and locker rooms- Restock restroom and breakroom supplies- Empty trash and collect recyclables- Mix and use cleaning chemicals properly- Report maintenance and repair needs- Maintain professional communication and customer serviceSafety Requirements:- Follow GCR Occupational Safety & Health Program- Wear PPE and follow all safety protocols- Report injuries, unsafe conditions, and property damage- Comply with vehicle safety policies and drug-free workplace requirements Required Skills and Abilities:- U.S. Citizenship- Ability to obtain base access- Pass drug test and background check- Valid driver's license- Strong attention to detail and communication skills Education and Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent- Minimum two years of commercial janitorial experience Preferred:- Experience working on government contractsConditions of EmploymentEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.Candidates must pass a background check prior to hire.
