Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Day Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our clients throughout the day. This role is crucial in upholding our reputation for exceptional service and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
- Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and in good working order.
- Respond promptly to client requests and address any immediate cleaning needs.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and break rooms.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any inventory needs to the supervisor.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down for events and meetings as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional attention.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with the supervisor and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 30 pounds.
