Custodian
Job Summary:
This position involves a variety of light to heavy cleaning tasks performed independently in specific areas or as a member of a crew. Under general supervision, the employee performs tasks during the assigned shift to ensure cleanliness of multiple assigned areas and do related work as required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
General cleaning and sanitizing of facility, including offices, 5+ restrooms, conference rooms, break rooms, and shop areas.
Sanitize all high touch surfaces areas.
Re-stock paper products, soaps, and hand sanitizers.
Trash and Recycle disposal.
Vacuum carpet in office areas and rugs in shop area.
Sweep and mop hard floors in break rooms, restrooms, and shop areas.
Clean entry glass doors throughout the facility.
Use Floor Scrubber, Backpack Vacuum, and Carpet Shampooer.
Use safety equipment and PPE while performing job duties as required.
Understand Hazard Communication Regulations and Material Data Sheets.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Must possess solid organizational skills
Modern cleaning methods, procedures, equipment, and materials.
Thrive in a fast pace and dynamic environment
Good mechanical aptitude, comfortable working with your hands
Proper lifting techniques
Detail oriented
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
2+ years of custodial experience
Lift 20+ lbs
Frequent walking around office and shop floor
